AMG9000 10Gb Managed Ethernet Switches

Ethernet Icon

AMG´s Commercial Layer 2+ 10Gb Managed Ethernet switches are designed for medium and large network environments, to strengthen network connectivity. The switches have 8, 24 or 48 gigabit ports, with or without PoE support, and 1/10Gb SFP+ uplink ports. The 10Gb uplink design provides an excellent solution for expanding your network from 1Gb to 10Gb. By 10Gb speed, these products provide high flexibility and high bandwidth connectivity to other 10Gb switches, servers, workstations or other devices supporting 10Gb interfaces. The user can also aggregate the 10Gb ports as a Trunk group to enlarge the bandwidth. Including full Layer 2+ Management features, the switches have the benefit of redundant ring technology as well as advanced VLAN features. IGMPv1-3 support allows for greater control of Multicast traffic across the network.

Designed for the job

A range of form-factors are available depending on the specific site requirements. The 10GbE uplink port design allows cascading of up to 16 switches in the same location. The 10GbE switches also supports Layer 2+ full management software features. These powerful features provide network control, management as well as monitor and security feature requests. Rack-mount brackets included, the 19" size fits into your rack environment.  It is a superb choice to boost your network with better performance and efficiency.

All models are designed to help customers to reduce power consumption and lower the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) by Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) features. Customers can use these switches to build a green, Ethernet networking environment.
