Over the years AMG has undertaken a range of client programmes from changing the format of a standard product to the development and production of multi-GHz, multi-protocol, optical fibre telemetry links.
We currently design and manufacture bespoke transmission solutions and OEM products for a number of companies in volumes ranging from a few tens to many thousands. Applications which have involved specialist product development include:

OEM
Amongst others, AMG manufactures data transceivers and fibre optic modems for Honeywell.
Military Project – Remote Operated Vehicles
AMG manufactures specialist, ruggedised video/data fibre optic transmission links for remote operated military vehicles. The units are fitted inside these miniature all-terrain vehicles which are used for the detection and destruction of bombs and have both fibre optic and radio links.
Military Project - Europe
AMG specifically designed a multimode fibre optic transmission link to satisfy the requirements of a significant European military project. The link transmits uni-directional video, bi-directional data, bi-directional audio and uni-directional audio on a single fibre core. A key requirement of the project was that the equipment needed to be able to operate at extreme temperatures.
