3000 Series

The AMG3000 series of analogue fibre transmission equipment is a multiple transmitter 'drop and insert' system designed for fibre ring applications. With multiple video channels, Ethernet, low speed data and audio signals transmission capability per transmitter device, up to 8 transmitter units can be placed on a single fibre ring as standard, extendable to 128 using AMG's 16 wavelength CWDM couplers. The AMG3600 series is designed for multimode fibre, whilst the AMG3700 series is designed for singlemode fibre.

Large site multi-camera applications

The unique drop and insert system allows up to 8 transmitters per fibre ring (extendable to 128 with CWDM) without any loss of performance. Equipment can be configured to collect individual, or multiple video signals e.g. along a highway, a rail link or airport perimeter in a ‘daisy chain’, transmitting them all back to one or more control rooms. This allows for significant savings on fibre optic infrastructure when compared with traditional point to point methods of video collection. Systems can be designed in a ‘spur’ or a ‘ring’ depending on site requirements and when configured in a dual redundant/self-healing ring option, the AMG3000 series ensures no loss of signal following a catastrophic fibre or node failure making it ideal for critical sites.


4000 Series
The AMG4000 series of analogue fibre transmission equipment is designed for point-to-point multi-channel transmitter applications. With multiple video channels, Ethernet, low speed data and audio signal transmission capability per transmitter device up to 8 video channels 16 data/audio and 100Mbps of Ethernet can transmitted per unit. Using AMG's CWDM couplers, up to 18 transmitters can be deployed on a single fibre with a maximum of 9 when in a redundant ring configuration The AMG4600 series is designed for multimode fibre, whilst the AMG4700 series is designed for singlemode fibre.
Medium to large site multi-camera applications
For larger sites, up to 18 wavelength channels can be used providing a transmission capacity of up to 144 video channels on one singlemode optical fibre along with associated data/audio and Ethernet. When configured in a dual redundant/self-healing ring option, the AMG4000 series ensures no loss of signal following a catastrophic fibre or node failure making it ideal for critical sites. A maximum of 8 transmitters can be deployed in a single fibre ring with CWDM and with an 8 fibre ring up to 576 video channels, 1152 data/audio and 7.2Gb Ethernet can be achieved.

5000 Series
The AMG5000 series of analogue fibre transmission equipment is designed for point-to-point single channel video applications. With video transmission together with Ethernet, low speed data and audio signals options capability per transmitter device, 1 video channel, up to 2 data/audio and up to 4 i/o alarms plus 100Mbps of Ethernet can transmitted per unit. 100Mbps Ethernet and data/audio only units are also available The AMG5600 series is designed for multimode fibre, whilst the AMG5700 series is designed for singlemode fibre.
Small to medium site single camera and data only applications
Transmitters are available with and without video, data, up to 2 alarm i/o and for multi-fibre installations, up to 4 video channel and dual redundancy is an option. When configured in a dual redundant/self-healing ring option, the AMG5000 series ensures no loss of signal following a catastrophic fibre or node failure making it ideal for critical sites. The ultra compact Mini transmitter is idea for confined spaces such as camera poles and roadside cabinets.

6000 Series

AMG9000 Managed Ethernet Switches
AMG’s range of Industrial Managed Ethernet switches have all been designed to deliver high performance for applications in harsh environments with temperatures as wide ranging as -40° to 75°C. A full product line-up, from 2 port managed media converters to 28 ports is available in a range of physical formats to facilitate deployment anywhere on site: surface and DIN rail mount for 'at the edge' (roadside cabinets, poles etc.) to full 19" for cabinet rack fitting. All models are optimised for video and purposed designed to meet the demands and requirements of IP video and security surveillance and include key layer 2 functionality such as IGMP for multi-cast video and fast healing redundant architectures for large sites where breaks in cable and damage to equipment is an all too often occurrence.

MSES Multi-Service Ethernet Switches
MSES stands for 'Multi-Service Ethernet Switch', a hybrid technology that combines layer 2 managed Ethernet switch functionality with fully integrated data and voice communication. Supporting low speed data, RS232/485, FTT-10, I/O, alarm contacts & audio, non-IP-ready devices can to be directly connected to a network, without requirement for any additional hardware, converters and power supplies. With the option of integrated OnVif compliant video encoders, AMG MSES managed Ethernet switches can deliver a hybrid solution for CCTV, security, public address, intercom, Access Control, Intrusion Detection communication over a single converged network as well as provide a seamless upgrade path for many legacy systems.
Industrial Applications

AMG9000 Commercial Ethernet
For those applications where networking equipment can be housed in a controlled environment, commercial grade products provide the most cost effective solution to compliment Industrial grade equipment installed in harsher 'out at the edge' locations. Full range
In contrast to AMG's Industrial ranges which are mainly surface and DIN rail mountable, the commercial range are predominately 19" rack mountable for communication and server rooms. Fully compatible with AMG's Industrial ranges and reputable manufacturers' equipment, all of our commercial switches deliver the same resilient operational performance as their hardened industrial network cousins. For example, MSTP, RSPT, ERPS redundant recovery rings with fast healing performance, fibre SFP cross-range compatible are common to all AMG products ensuring that the correct grade of equipment can be installed for the location without any loss of performance or compromise of resilience.

AMG8000 Skywave wireless IP transmission
Comprising both analogue and IEEE802.11 IP transmission systems capable of transmitting hundreds of high definition CCTV camera images many kilometres, AMG wireless transmission systems can be used as part of a small standalone or fully integrated security networked solution. AMG's encoder and decoder ranges are available in as standalone options for converting analogue video 'at the edge', rack mountable for centralised encoding and directly incorporated into our transmission equipment including the AMG8000 series of wireless 802.11 transmitters to suit the exact application requirements. With options of wide ranging temperature support and IP67 enclosures, both encoders and decoders are designed to meet the real life demands of industrial CCTV installations.

RM5800 Videowave radio wireless transmission
AMG’s Videowave 5800 series of wireless video transceivers supports 1 channel of analogue video with 1 alarm channel and 1 audio transmitter or second alarm channel. Up to 4 links can be used on an installation. As with all AMG modem products, the Videowave 5800 series video and telemetry transceivers provides fully transparent operation regardless of the serial data protocol. Over-air speeds of up to 16Kbps are achievable and serial data can be input at baud rates up to 19200bps.
Designed for real-time analogue CCTV transmission
For some CCTV installations and sites, laying cables to reach remote or hard to reach locations can be expensive, prohibitive, not allowed or simply not practical: rivers, roads, carparks, not having direct access rights, legal restrictions (including listed buildings) can make wireless transmission the best choice. Whether it is for a rural or urban installation, as long as there is a power source and line of sight, wireless can provide a quicker and more cost effective alternative to traditional cabling.
