Fibre Optic HD Point to Point
The AMG5100 Series is a single channel, fibre optic, CCTV transmission system created for low cost, point-to-point single channel transmission of 3G/HD/SD-SDI video and audio.
AMG5100 is designed for singlemode fibre and provides high quality, low cost transmission of uncompressed and unencrypted digital video signals (optionally including embedded audio and/or time code). The video is transmitted in full bandwidth digital format ensuring optimum transmission performance regardless of distance. As no compression of the video is used, there is no latency or compromise on quality.
SDI was developed by and for the broadcast and consumer industry with the primary goal being the highest possible video & audio quality.
Advantages of the SDI format are low jitter, superior signal integrity and higher data rates (up to 3Gbit/s).
