Security
The security market encompasses a cross section of client types and industry sectors. With terrorism a real and constant threat, many public and private sector clients have recognised and responded to the potential risk by upgrading and installing security systems utilising AMG equipment.
The threat has driven a real need to improve security on sites deemed to be 'critical national infrastructure'. There has also been a big focus on the protection of national/natural assets i.e. mines in many international markets. Having undergone stringent approval processes, AMG's transmission products have been the solution of choice for many such clients.
Security in prisons and other secure facilities is also on the increase and AMG has been involved in providing the transmission solution for many prisons, correction and immigration centres in the UK as well as abroad.
CCTV surveillance is being introduced by an increasing number of city and town centres and other public spaces environments. An increasing number of hospitals, universities and other educational facilities have also introduced CCTV as a method of crime prevention and detection.
